UniCompoST

UniCompoST razvija uređaje koji kombiniraju biološku obradu otpada na mjestu nastanka i indoor vrtlarenje. Kao rezultat toga nastao je proizvod “C-Eco for Home” – mali i kompaktni uređaj, edukativnog karaktera, koji korisnike na praktičan i zanimljiv način uvodi u svijet gospodarenja biootpadom, kružnog gospodarstva i održivog razvoja. Upotrebom uređaja korisnik obrađuje biootpad na ispravan način, proizvodi kvalitetno organsko gnojivo koje koristi u indoor ugoju bilja, uzgaja bilje i konzumira plodove, a ostatke ponovno biološki obrađuje i na taj način zatvara kruženje tvari bez štetnog utjecaja na okoliš. Cilj je korisnike educirati i pripremiti za nove tehnologije i trendove u sustavu gospodarenja otpadom. S obzirom na navedeno, ciljani korisnici su obitelji, kućanstva i obrazovne ustanove na svim razinama. Uz uređaj dolazi i edukacijska platforma “UniCompoST Učionica”, specijalizirana u području zaštite okoliša, gospodarenja otpadom, kružnog gospodarstva i održivog razvoja.

UniCompoST is developing devices that combine on-site biological waste treatment and indoor gardening. As a result, the product “C-Eco for Home” was created – a small and compact, educational device, which introduces users in a practical and interesting way to the world of biowaste management, circular economy and sustainable development. Using the device, the user treats biowaste in the right way, produces quality organic fertilizer that is used in indoor plants, grows plants, consumes fruits, and re-treats the remains biologically and thus closes the circulation of substances without harmful effects on the environment. The goal is to educate and prepare users for new technologies and trends in the waste management system. Given the above, the target beneficiaries are families, households and educational institutions at all levels. The device is accompanied by the educational platform “UniCompoST Učionica”, specialized in the field of environmental protection, waste management, circular economy and sustainable development.

CLEAR COAST

Clear Coast je mobilna aplikacija za lociranje i dojavu te proslijeđivanje informacija nadležnim službama za zbrinjavanje divljih odlagališta otpada te onečišćenja mora i priobalnog područja. Dijeljenjem putem društvenih mreža potiče se mogućnost samoorganizacije u prikupljanju otpada te se time vrši pritisak na službe nadležne za zbrinjavanje otpada.

Aplikacija potiče razvoj ekološke svijesti i odgovornosti korisnika te samoorganiziranosti djelovanja na moru i priobalnom području. Povećana pozornost povezana s dojavom i prikupljanjem otpada onečišćenog mora i priobalja može i mora utjecati na smanjenje prisutnosti mikroplastike u ugroženoj morskoj fauni, u čitavom morskom ekosustavu te čovjeku kao krajnjem konzumentu u hranidbenom lancu. Prikupljanje i dijeljenje informacija povezanih s velikim porastom nautičkog prometa, ponajviše kruzera kao i teretnog prometa tankera može smanjiti i/ili spriječiti daljnji rast zagađenja mora i obale kojeg takav promet uzrokuje. Samo par klikova na pametnom telefonu čini aplikaciju privlačnom i jednostavnom za korištenje svim korisnicima kako starijem tako i mlađem uzrastu.

Clear Coast is a mobile application for locating, reporting and forwarding information to services competent for waste management, in particular, wild garbage dumps related to the sea and coastal pollution. Social network sharing implicates and stimulates the possibility of self-organization in waste collection, putting pressure on services competent for waste management.

The application stimulates the development of the environmental awareness and responsibility of the users together with the self-organization of activities related to the sea and the coastal area. The increased attention connected to reporting and collecting the marine and coastal waste pollution can and must make an impact to reduce the presence of micro-plastic in the endangered marine life, in the entire marine ecosystem and in humans as the ultimate consumers of the food chain. Collecting and sharing information related to a large increase in nautical traffic, mostly cruisers as well as the freight transport of tankers can reduce and/or prevent further pollution growth caused by the same traffic. Just a few clicks on the smartphone make this application attractive and easy to use for all users, both older and younger ones.
